Dr. Spiros V. Paras is Professor at the Chemical Engineering Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), Greece. He holds a Diploma in Chemical Engineering from AUTh, as well as a MSc degree from the University of Washington, Seattle, USA and a PhD degree from AUTh, Greece.
He has been the instructor of courses on multiphase and biomedical flows and on measuring techniques. He supervises the chemical engineering lab II and the senior student project on chemical product and plant design and optimisation.His main research interests are in the fields of multi-phase flow with emphasis on process equipment design, CFD, as well as in process modelling and simulation. He has the supervision of several research programmes. |
